Syed Raza, MD - Medical Oncologist

Board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology, Dr. Raza moved to San Antonio in 2006 to join Oncology of San Antonio. He was born in Pakistan, where he completed his undergraduate and medical school education. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Roosevelt Hospital in New York, New York and then worked as an Internist at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York. He served as Medical Director at Salamanca Healthcare, Salamanca, New York.

Dr. Raza completed his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at St. Vincent's Hospital/Salick Comprehensive Cancer Center, New York, New York. He joined Texas Oncology as a consultant in Hematology/Oncology where he had extensive experience in palliative medicine while serving as co-director of Hospice program at Hendrick Medical Center, Abilene, Texas.

Dr. Raza's special Interests include: G.I. Cancers, Head and Neck cancers and hematological malignancies.
